Samsung India Mobile chief Raju Pullan resigns; Aditya Babbar to lead operations: Read Linkedin post
Samsung India is seeing a major change at the top of its one its most successful division. Raju Antony Pullan, the Senior Vice President and Head of the company's mobile business in India, has officially resigned from his post. Pullan, a veteran of the South Korean tech giant, served as the mobile head for nearly four and a half years, and is leaving the company after spending a total of 18 years at Samsung India in various leadership roles.In a farewell shared on LinkedIn, Pullan reflected on his long career with the company. “It's been a fantastic journey of 18 years with Samsung,” he wrote, adding that he “had the opportunity of bringing Galaxy phones to millions of households in India”.

The journey has just begun 🥳Its been a fantastic journey of 18 years with Samsung.Had the opportunity of bring Galaxy phones to millions of households in India.Looking forward to my new assignment and journey.Over the years, had the opportunity to take on diverse responsibilities, from leading as Sales Head for MX India, to serving as SOP Head- India, where we focused on establishing and innovating sustainable processes. The excitement amplified as was entrusted with leading the turnaround of the Consumer Electronics division for four years, and more recently, since 2022, driving the MX business forward in an increasingly competitive environment.Each phase came with its own challenges. While with a brand like Samsung on my shoulder and outstanding teams to standby. The wonderful team grew strength to strength, scaling the business, sharpening execution, and bringing meaningful innovation to millions of consumers across India.What truly defines this journey, however, is the people. The teams I’ve worked with have been exceptional, resilient in the face of challenges, ambitious in their goals, and unwavering in their commitment to excellence. Every milestone we achieved was a result of collective belief and effort.Samsung’s legacy in India is built not just on technology leadership, but on trust, consistency, and a deep understanding of the consumer. I feel privileged to have contributed to that legacy and to have been part of a journey that has impacted millions of lives.As I step forward, I carry with me immense gratitude, for the mentors who guided me, the colleagues who became friends, and the teams who made this journey truly meaningful.Thank you, Samsung, for being such an integral part of my life.

Aditya Babbar to lead the division

Aditya Babbar, who is currently Vice President: Head of Product Marketing & E-commerce at Samsung Mobile, will take on additionally responsibility, as per Pullan’s second post.
