The Telangana High Court has directed the CBI to verify if the Interpol red corner notice against former MP KVP Ramachandra Rao is still active. The notice, issued in 2014 over an alleged US-based bribery case, has been under interim stay since 2015. The court is examining the maintainability of the petition challenging the notice.

Justice Nooty Ramamohana Rao of the AP High Court on Friday issued notices to the state legislative assembly secretary and two others directing them to explain the reasons for their failure to pay salary arrears to three class IV employees.

The Telangana High Court has declined to issue interim orders for 11 families challenging an endowment tribunal's ruling that declared them encroachers of temple land. The families, residing on temple property for three decades, claim ownership through sale deeds. The court has directed the endowments department to submit its response within four weeks.
