A great late-night spot for drinks and dancing Noteworthy for: The superior acoustics of the Cypress wood-paneled music room has made it a favorite of many musicians, including Stevie Wonder and Jimmy Buffet. Come here for live music, stay for the fantastic collection of Scotch and craft beers from all over the world. The two rooms separate the drinking from the listening, but both are recommended. The wood walls here bring out the best in the brass bands that come to play here such as the Treme Brass Band, and others like Walter 'Wolfman' Washington, jazz vocalist John Boutte, and the 1920s swing-jazz sound of Hot Club of New Orleans. It's a dark, atmospheric, busy place. Open late, cover is often free and rarely more than USD 10.
