A quick walk across the Millenium bridge from St. paul’s, the globe theatre was re-built on the same site as the original and opened in 1997. A reconstruction of the original open-air theatres from the 60s, it hosts Shakespearean plays and the season normally runs from May to October and sometimes over the Christmas period. Tours of the theatre and an exhibition is also available.
