Jaclynn Seah is a Singaporean girl who has a full-time day job like regular people do, and loves to travel when she can get the time off. She hopes to encourage fellow desk-bound wanderlusters to indulge in their love for travel and get away more. With a motto to try anything at least once, she’s always looking forward to that next trip!
The old National Stadium has been completely overhauled to create the Singapore Sports Hub—the latest architectural marvel to be added to the city’s landscape—which is spread across 35 hectares and was recently reopened to the public. It’s hard to miss the centre-piece—the new National Stadium—which comprises of a large dome with a retractable roof, seats for 55,000 people, and a configuration that can be changed to accommodate different types of events (from a pop concert by singer Mariah Carey, to performances by the Singapore Chinese Orchestra). Also located in the sports hub, is the Singapore Indoor Stadium which can seat up to 12,000 spectators. The closest MRT station is Stadium on the Circle, but you should be sure of your way, since poor signage could increase the possibility of getting lost.
