Located in Brindleyplace, opposite the National Indoor Arena, the National Sea Life Centre is an impressive aquarium with an extensive display of aquatic life. Opened in 1996, the centre houses various species of marine and freshwater animals that include crabs, sharks, turtles and otters. Housed within a million-litre ocean tank, the displays are immaculate with trivia displayed about each one of the species. The giant Pacific octopus and the specially reared seahorses are noteworthy. The centre has, in fact, an extensive seahorse breeding programme. Besides, a quiz sheet, which is handed over to you at the place you buy the tickets, is a great way to engage visitors. Do not forget to redeem your prize at the end of the trail and to buy some souvenir from the gift shop at this truly enchanting place. The 4-D movie aired at last is simply amazing and a fabulous way to end a captivating tour.
