The indelible urge to wander, sets forth plans to some well trodden and some not so well trodden paths. The decade and a half passion for traveling has built up a healthy repertoire that spans North American cities, exquisite Canadian wilderness, extensive Europe chronicling historic metropolis, resort towns, Aegean sea & Mediterranean sea towns, majestic alps as well as medieval towns and villages, urban Australia, a tryst with New Zealand’s cities, towns and untamed wilderness, the best of South Africa and a sojourn in Asian countries. The glacier treks of New Zealand, lakes of the Banff National Park (Canada), the medieval towns near Florence, the photo-worthy bridge city of Ronda (Spain) are just some ventures whose memories kindle a desire to write!

Well, Old Town or Vieux Nice is the heart and soul of Nice, and also where you need to be. Tangled up streets (as if created deliberately for your visual appeal), glorious morning flower markets of Cours Saleya, narrow alleys teeming with tourists and locals alike, umpteen options to dine and eat with that enthusiastic host offering you the best table, dated chocolate shops, Fenocchio Ice-Cream Parlour offering you those rare flavours, in other words, the best mélange of ‘old time Europe’ presented to you on a platter by Old Nice! Cours Saleya is by far the liveliest part of Old Town and also where you should dine, soaking in every bit of the Mediterranean vibe!

Whether looking for respite from the summer sun, or for that careless saunter, or for capturing a shot of the beautifully dilapidated buildings, or for binging with your friends all night, Old Nice is where you should be!
