An abbey on an island, this is clearly one of the highlights of the trip. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mont Saint Michel is a must-visit destination in your day-trips itinerary. The monastery was finished in the 1100s, but the Archangel Michael came here in the 700s. This is a huge attraction in France and you’ll be at awe by its sheer beauty. Again use a transportation app to make sure you get here the fastest way possible. It will take a little over 3 hours so you need to leave early, in order to reach early. You do have to pay an entrance fee, which is less than 10 euro. Located dramatically by the sea, Mont Saint Michel is quite an enchanting sight to behold.
