Art, posing and amazing Parthenon views
Word to the wise: Check out the website listings during Athens Festival when BIOS host many live acts and performances.
This rambling art complex and drinking den was the first of Gazi's warehouse spaces to pack itself with cross-cultural offerings. Tardis-like inside, it includes two stages, four bars, a theatre space, installation room and small cinema screen.
While many guests are happy just to drink and pose, you might come across video art projected against the walls of the neon-lit terrace, or find sculptural exhibitions in this Bauhaus building's basement. Music is the focus most of the time, however, with regular live music (for which BIOS is one of Athens' best venues) and eclectic, left-field bar sounds.
