The mission here is to serve up good, old-fashioned comfort food in a cozy environment of wooden tables and easy chairs, so it's perfect for a lazy Sunday or early evening chill-out. Burgoo has a detailed wine and beer list, including their own signature ale, and it's probably the only place in Vancouver you can buy mead - a sweet honey wine which makes a fantastic warmer on winter nights.
