Jahanpanah City Forest, Delhi

Finding a dense forest in the middle of Delhi’s plush Greater Kailash Part 2 area could be a surprise for many non-locals. The Jahanpanah City Forest is an amazing and vast place for nature lovers, runners, walkers and fitness lovers in South Delhi. The place is full of fresh oxygen in the morning hours due to the presence of several trees.
There is a 4 mile-long track for running and jogging and several interlinked mud tracks. Benches have been provided for visitors to sit, relax and enjoy the calmness. A lot of locals visit this forest to do yoga, run or simply watch their children engage in play.
Jahanpanah City Forest is also home to peacocks, birds etc. If lucky, you may also spot a Nilgai or two.
