You can roam around in the market that is full of options that you can buy—funky jewellery, hand-knitted woollens, carpets, shawls, t-shirts and artefacts. There are some awesome restaurants and cafes that serve delicious Chinese, Tibetan and Italian food. If you are looking for a peaceful place to practice yoga, there are some places in the outskirts that offer a serene environment and a lovely view of Kangra Valley and Dhauladhars. McLeod Ganj also is the base for many treks.
