Referring to this development, Cabinet Minister Shrikant Sharma briefed the media personnel about this meeting chaired by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The minister also stated that a proposal for beautifying Ayodhya and boosting tourism has been approved by the UP Cabinet. A digital museum based on Lord Ram, a food plaza, a statue of Lord Ram, and landscaping will soon be coming to the city.
The UP Government has also approved the budget to install a 221 m tall statue of Rama in Ayodhya. Reports suggest that a budget of INR 447.46 crore had been approved for the complete development of Ram Nagari Ayodhya by the UP Cabinet. Apart from purchasing land to execute this plan, the budget money will also be used to beautify Ayodhya, and other tourism-related developments.
