As always, the Ardh Kumbh Mela was expected to see tourists from several countries, such as the United States of America, Malaysia, Canada, Bhutan and South Africa. However, this time visitors from other countries, such as Indonesia, Egypt and Cambodia, are also expected to visit this fair. As per an official in the know-how, more than 192 countries have received an official invitation from the government to visit India and be a part of the world’s biggest cultural and faith congregation.
Also, experts from the travel industry believe that the mela will eventually lead to a surge in inbound tourism. To make it a smooth fair for visitors and devotees, the administration has also taken a number of steps to ensure that people are safe and comfortable. A number of tents and camps have been set up to facilitate the accommodation of visitors attending the mela.
