Location The pass is located at 3130 m (10269 ft) above sea level in the beautiful Shams Bari mountain range. The place is noted for its elevation and weather. In winters, the place receives heavy snowfall and remains inaccessible.

The story behind the interesting name
Well, do you know that the pass is named after the famous yesteryear Bollywood actress Sadhna? Its association with the 60’s actress made it more notable. Sadhna Shivdasani visited the pass to meet the Indian soldiers after the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965.

Sadhana, was an Indian film actress, who featured in several successful Bollywood cinemas during the 1960s and 70s including Woh Kaun Thi, Mera Saaya and Anita.
She is counted among the finest and top leading actresses in the history of Indian cinema. In fact, during that era, she was also the highest-paid actress of her time. Gorgeous, charming and everyone’s favourite, Sadhna was known for several interesting things including the famous Sadhna Haircut.
