He also appreciated the efforts of medical, administrative, and nursing staff across the Emirate that have been a key in tackling the COVID-19, and also providing high-level healthcare to patients.
This step of granting Golden Visas to the health professionals is being looked upon as a gesture to boost the morale of these professionals, and also encourage them to do their best in providing the highest quality of medical care.
Referring to this, Brigadier Khamis Al Kaabi, who is the spokesperson of Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, added that the presidential order includes full waiver of fines for people with expired entry or residency permits willing to leave the country after May 18, and that this grace period will last for another three months. He stated that the order includes waiver of fines on expired Emirates ID and work permits.
He also mentioned that the said order will not prevent any beneficiary from returning to the country when they meet the necessary conditions. He further urged the public to use the smart platform of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship to avail the services they need.
