Shirdi Airport is all set to resume operations from today, following its closure on November 14 on account of poor visibility. All flight operations were suspended at the facility following reports of poor visibility and thus, disruption in operations. Starting today, the airport will partially reopen for flight operations.
An official from the MADC (Maharashtra Airport Development Company Limited) stated, “We have been in touch with the India Meteorological Department the entire time. The air traffic control (AIC) is under the control of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and it has cleared the landings and take-offs to and from the airport now.”
