Located around 200 meters away from the Chail bus stand, one can spot a church like structure. But don’t get misled, it is actually a gurdwara! Called Chail Gurudwara Saheb, this place was sanctioned by Bhupinder Singh – the Maharaja of Patiala. After the partition of Punjab, the building was taken over by the government of Himachal Pradesh. The Gurudwara is nicely bordered by lush greenery like most of the places in that region. This place of worship hosts Baisakhi and Gurupurab every year with great enthusiasm. If you happen to be in Chail during these times, it will be a great experience to be at the gurdwara. Not just that, Chail Gurudwara Saheb has some modest guest rooms and dormitory to allow free accommodation to the visitors and travellers. Langer Hall (community kitchen) is situated at the back side of the shrine.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
