The focal point of most activities in the city of Leeds is the bustling University of Leeds. The sprawling campus is home to one of the largest universities in UK. A variety of subjects – everything from Medicine to English Literature - are taught here. As a visitor to the University of Leeds, you must visit the Parkinson Building. Its clock tower is hard to miss. You can sit on the steps under the clock tower and admire the frenetic rhythm of university life. Alternatively, you can have a coffee inside as you admire the ornate high ceiling and watch students entering the hallowed corridors of the Leeds University Library. Once you’re done, take a walk in the campus. It is gorgeous any time of the year. In summer it is strewn with flowers, during fall it is covered in crunchy ochre leaves, while winter months leave it covered in a layer of pristine white snow.
