Morjim Beach

Termed as the ‘calmest beach’ in the off-season by tourists, this beach is very peaceful and quiet. It is bigger than the Baga beach in Goa and hence it is very accommodating too.

Tucked on the northern bank of Chapora River estuary, it houses many species of birds and is also the habitat for Olive ridley sea turtles. It is also known as the Turtle beach. It is popular for birding enthusiasts and to enjoy some dolphin sightings.
The beach is sparsely populated and you would see this wide beach covered with soft, silky sand. With shallow sea and less horde of tourists, the sea offers multiple food eateries for a quick bite. Right behind the beach is the Morjim village, which is a great collection of beautiful villas and houses.
