Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji, also known as Patna Saheb is a prominent tourist attraction in Patna. A sacred place for Sikhs all over the globe, Patna Saheb was built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh from 1837 to 1839. This shrine is dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh ji, the tenth Guru of the Sikhs who was born in Patna back in 1666. One of the most iconic figures in Indian history, Guru Gobind Singh has a legacy that can make anyone feel modest. The gurdwara faced a massive earthquake in 1934 so new constructions started in 1954. This gurdwara is home to many holy Sikh scriptures. The shrine is very beautiful to look at and you can feel the power of people’s faith the moment you enter it.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
