IRCTC is going to run a Statue of Unity train that is going to run under the Bharat Darshan Tour Scheme. The special train of the Indian Railways is going to get launched in Gujarat on March 4, 2019. The world’s tallest statue is now going to be an even more exciting place of interest for travellers with this all new tour.
The Statue of Unity train is priced at 7560 per person. You have multiple boarding and de-boarding facilities with this tour package. The stations are Chandigarh, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat, Delhi Cant., Rewari, Alwar, and Jaipur.
According to sources, the package has been designed to pay tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. Located on the river island of Sadhu Bet in Gujarat’s Narmada Dam, the Statue of Unity is 182 m tall. At Vadodara railway station, passengers will be taken for touring the Statue of Unity.
The said package has all the best facilities for tourists – non-AC sleeper class, hall/dormitory accommodation for nights’ stay, road transportation, pure vegetarian meals, sightsee ing by non-AC vehicles. Security arrangements would also be in place for the tour.
