This highly respected site is on the way to Neelkanth Mahadev. Narayani Mata Temple is a much revered site and is apparently the only temple of Sain Samaj in India. According to folklore and legend, its story goes back to the 11th century, where the first sati (immolation by fire) took place.
There used to be a big local fair at the temple every year till early 90s, before the practice of sati was banned in the country. The insides of the temple are quite artistic and there is an old baba (sadhu), who resides there. It is one of the most popular local sights near Sariska.
