Dhanushkodi
Dhanushkodi, known for its striking beauty, was once a serene beach town. After the devastating cyclone of 1964, the erstwhile bustling town turned into an abandoned 'ghost town.' Adam’s Bridge (Ram Setu)
Adam’s Bridge, also known as Ram Setu, is believed to be the bridge built by Lord Rama’s army to reach Lanka in the Ramayana epic. Though mostly submerged, the chain of limestone shoals between Rameswaram and Sri Lanka remains visible in certain areas.

As per legends, Lord Rama prayed to Lord Shiva in Rameswaram to seek forgiveness for killing Ravana, a devotee of Lord Shiva.
