Sanur is on the east side of the island of Bali and offers a more peaceful alternative to the busy beach resorts of Kuta, Legian and Seminyak on the South West coast. However, being on the East coast means that you miss out on those fabulous Bali sunsets. Sanur was actually Bali’s first tourist resort area and so while it is laidback it still has many facilities for tourists and suits those who look for a slow paced relaxing beach holiday. Read less
