The thick forests of Sholayar ranges cover the falls adding a new kind of beauty to it. A rocky descend for the thundering waters of river Chalakkudy creates a spectacle like nothing else. The entire area is perfect for a relaxing day out. Or else you can go sightseeing in the adjacent areas. This place is a bit far away from the city centre but once you reach it, you will know it was worth the effort.
