Brooklyn’s coolest neighbourhood and creative hub has an exciting mix of vintage shops and boutiques representing upcoming designers. During the weekends, it also hosts trendy flea markets. The biggest of these is the Brooklyn Flea, which is held outdoors in summer and indoors in winter. It offers antique furniture, clothes, jewellery, art and other bric-a-brac. It also has a food market called Smorgasburg next door, with an array of ethnic and artisanal eats by neighbourhood food vendors. A smaller weekend market, Artists & Fleas presents a selection of products by local designers, artists and collectors.
