The star attraction
Apart from the waterfall, you could also visit the Shiseido Forest Valley, which is a four-storey garden set here in the Jewel Changi Airport. The garden surrounds the waterfall, and is a great walking trail for travellers. It has a wide collection of indoor plants as well. Interestingly, rainwater is collected to aide the Vortex Waterfall, and the volume of flow can be controlled manually.
Travellers on a layover would be glad to know that the airport now also has an 11-cinema IMAX theatre.
The Changi Airport is, in fact, an airport that is accessed by the locals at ease. It has become a prime spot for locals to dine, or catch a movie, even when they aren’t flying somewhere. A lot of locals come to the airport over the weekend to spend some quality time.
