It was here in this ground where Pakistan defeated England to win their first Cricket World Cup in 1992. One of the main events here in the stadium is the Boxing Day test matches that start on December 26, and which draws massive crowds. You could try and catch it this year!
The Oval, Kennington
The oval is a rare cricket ground that is shaped in the oval shape, and is one of the most attractive grounds you will see. The stadium was built in 1845, and is the venue that hosted the first ever test match between England and Australia. It is home to the Surrey County Cricket Club, and in fact had even hosted a football match way back in 1872, the first FA Cup Final between England and Scotland.
