IRCTC (Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation) is trying to do their best to make India’s one of the biggest events, the Ardha Kumbh Mela, a huge success. This time, the Indian Railways will be serving a wide range of delicious Indian meals to all the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas delegates travelling in trains. IRCTC (Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation) is trying to do their best to make India’s one of the biggest events, the Ardha Kumbh Mela, a huge success. This time, the Indian Railways will be serving a wide range of delicious Indian meals to all the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas delegates travelling in trains. The two-meal (dinner and breakfast) arrangements are being done for the delegates, who’ll be travelling to Allahabad from Delhi.
According to the sources, the decision of serving special meals to delegates was taken by a high-level committee. The official mentioned that the menu would be kept simple and delegates would be given a taste of local cuisine. The delegates will be served dinner on 24th January, 2019, and breakfast for the next day in the train.
As per the reports, around 3,000 meals are being prepared for the delegates by the Indian Railways, which will be served in pre-sealed cardboard packages.So yes, if you are in the country for Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, there is a lot in store for you.
