Here, at this pretty restaurant, people can enjoy a four-course meal while maintaining COVID norms, especially while social distancing. To ensure distancing, the diners are made to sit inside their private greenhouses. The waiters serve food on a wooden board and never step inside the greenhouse to avoid any contact.
The move will also encourage diners to come back to restaurants amid the pandemic.
Willem Velthoven, Director of the Mediamatic Art Centre and the restaurant said, "It's somehow interesting because we used to have these greenhouses already for a few years. We built them to do plant-based art projects. So they were there as a plant gallery space. And it's only that corona forces us to think again and say, look, maybe it's also nice for humans to sit in."
