Apana Foodland is, perhaps, one of the most buzzing restaurants in Diu. It sprawls across the road from the island’s boat jetty, also pouring over the very famous Pani Kotha Fort. The menu here is a mix of Gujarati and North Indian cuisine. While the place lacks Diu’s distinguished Portuguese touch, you would love it for authentic Gujarati offerings such as theplas, khandvi, bajri no rotlo (millet bread), biranj (saffron rice), batata nu shaak (potato curry) and more. An impressive number of dishes for dessert lovers is another lure of this place. Perfect for a late night meal by the seaside, it is in the middle of this tiny island that makes it quite accessible as well.
