This family-run trattoria has been in operation since 1961, and is truly one of the most fabulous restaurants in all of Rome. Today the restaurant remains family run, and visitors can keep still expect the same great food and service they have had for years. Warm lighting, an exposed wood beam ceiling, and booths lining the walls make this an inviting and warm atmosphere to enjoy a meal in. It is important to note that this restaurant is closed on Saturday nights, and all day and night on Sundays. We suggest starting with the special of the day, as it is always lovely, especially the light eggplant parmigiana. Make sure to try one of their fresh pastas to start off with, followed by the lamb or veal. The food is simple yet elegant, with the whole family working hard to ensure it stays like that. The chef will often wander from table to table saying hello to regular customers, and meeting new ones. Your glass will never stay empty, nor will your stomach at this authentic Italian trattoria.
