Straight out of New York, this converted loft-style space with black tufted booths and industrial furnishings in moody, masculine tones brings a touch of class to caffeine o'clock. Known as ABC, the establishment does a roaring trade in coffee, cakes and breakfasts (served 'til 5pm) while tempting patrons to come back for lunch or dinner to sample the Western fusion menu of soups, salads, pasta dishes and hearty mains.

Situated in the city's tourist centre, you'll be, well, forking out a bit extra to dine here. If you've been lacking a little luxury on your travels, it's worth treating yourself.
