Located in the happening Chang Lam neighbourhood of Thimphu, the Bhutan Orchid restaurant is a buffet speciality dining space that caters to travellers from all parts of the world who would like to explore the Bhutanese cuisine to its greatest depths. Known for local favourites such as hentey (buckwheat momos stuffed with spinach) from Haa, and puta (buckwheat noodles) from Bumthang, the restaurant gives a unique twist to the flavours, which doesn’t make the dishes lose their authenticity, and yet is comfortable for the global palate. For instance, the restaurant makes sure that none of its dishes has an overdose of chilli.
