This is a small, traditional and very popular local warung in the Tuban area of Kuta. Warung Nikmat is one of the most affordable places to eat in the area and is always packed with locals, tourists and expats alike.Nasi Campur means ‘mixed rice.’ It’s like a Balinese thali that consists of small portions of a variety of vegetables, fish or meat with a mound of steamed rice and sambal. It is quite a popular dish and is particularly good at Warung Nikmat and as you can pick what you want from over 20 side dishes of veggies, chicken and fish to go with your rice, there are endless options of Nasi Campur that you can try here.
Warung Nimat also serves great Ayam Nasi Lalapan, which is a sambal-based sauce served with tofu, vegetables, rice, a bowl of soup and your choice of meat. It’s like a three-course meal served in one and Warung Nimat has a special, secret sambal recipe that you have to try.
Unlike some of the warungs that have turned into more upmarket restaurants, Warung Nimat still offers a traditional warung dining experience.
