This is a unique café built on stilts amidst a lush forest and overlooking coffee plantation making you feel like you’ve walked straight into a lap of nature. Hornbills, golden back woodpeckers, racket tailed drongoes and malabar parakeets and the giant Malabar squirrel are the adorable residents of this area. It’s not just restaurant’s location that keeps me coming back though. Every dish is made from scratch and tastes heaven, so it makes more sense to visit the café when your hunger pangs are unbearable. They have the only western coffee machine in town that serves your cuppa with local, fresh ground beans. Having said that, their cardamom tea deserves a mention too. Spinach Puttu Tomato Bruschetta Aubergine Lasagne and Spinach Pizza Müesli with lots of fresh fruits and yoghurt are some clear winners that have won praises. When the music is great, as is the WiFi, the staff and the ambiance, there is hardly any reason for anyone to skip a visit. Plus, the friendly staff can also help arranging tours inside and outside of the wild life park at affordable prices.
