While more have opened up recently, WAKE UP COFFEE is Chiang Mai’s first coffee shop that’s open 24-hours and designed especially for students and those working online. Located right on Nimmanhaemin Road, in the heart of the main student neighborhood, you will find people here at all times of the day and night sipping their drinks and staring at their computer screens. Different seating areas, including counters, large tables and even swinging chairs make it easy to find a solid work space and set up camp for a while either in a group or on your own. The spacious cafe offers a range of hot and iced drinks and bakery items, such as a delicious-looking mango crepe cake, but is also connected to a Subway if your work or study-athon requires some more nourishment. There is also parking space located behind the cafe for your convenience with spots free for the first two hours. The easy, 24-hour, access comes with a price though and many of the drinks here are a little more expensive than you will find elsewhere. That said, they are quite large and will last you a while!
