As LMB is listed in almost every guide book on Jaipur, it is on every visitor's must-visit list — and rightly so. Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar, popularly known as LMB, is something of an institution and at any given time there seems to be about as much activity here as you would see on a busy railway station! The 142-cover restaurant and the adjoining mithai counter is always buzzing with sounds of laughter and customers jostling for space as they try and inch closer to the display counter.
Try their delicious thali meals cooked in pure ghee along with other Rajasthani delicacies. Though a lot of calorie-conscious people have curtailed their trips to LMB, there are still a large number who give in to the temptation and enjoy the LMB experience. It is certainly worth a visit as the place needs to be experienced for its unbeatable charm and energy.
