Another family-run restaurant, Heranca Goesa is a great place to dig into a surprising blend of Indian and Portuguese delights. With a Goan cook, who is also the owner of this place, you might as well find a Konkani tinge too! Fish recheado, chicken cafreal, prawns with a dash of peri peri sauce, and bebinca for some unforgettable ‘dessert time.’ While reservations are a must for lunch and dinner, you can stroll in for its breakfast spread (some wonderfully doled out omelettes, salads, crepes, pancakes await you) that is quite a hit with the locals as well. A laidback ambience adds to its charm for you can grab a seat in the house’s tastefully done living room or the front yard. Talk to the owners for a wonderful mix of anecdotes that bring together tales from beaches of Goa and Diu.
