As its name indicates, this restaurant specialises in idlis, serving over 13 varieties of these soft puffed rice cakes, accompanied by delicious sambhar, rasam and coconut chutney. Located in Matunga, it is frequented by hordes of students (thanks to the colleges located nearby and the affordable prices of the dishes here). Recommended dishes include the khotto idli, rava idli and oondi idli, all served hot in jackfruit and banana leaves and accompanied by fiery molgapodi (gunpowder).
