Moonpeak Espresso and Moonpeak Thali

One of the oldest food joints in the town, Moonpeak Espresso is almost like another major attraction near the Dalai Lama Temple. Sitting side by side, both the cafe and the restaurant offer a good variety of food. While the cafe is more about fresh juices, coffee, shakes, mojitos and an interesting variety of cocktails, Himachali Thali is a star attraction of the restaurant. Other must haves at the Moonpeak Thali are Mediterranean and eggplant sandwich, egg rolls, carrot soup, chicken sesame salad and a range of omelettes that are locals’ favourite as well. Other than its food, Moonpeak has always been a place to meet travellers, writers, poets and painters. Retro Bollywood music and movie posters make it quite different from the other food joints in Mcleodganj.
