Stellar seafood by way of Spain
Word to the wise: If you want to enjoy the setting, but don’t want to overspend, get a cheese tray at the bar. Six cheeses clock in at AED 150.

Walking into the dining room at Ossiano feels like stepping into a fairytale. A long staircase just made for dropping a glass slipper leads into an elegant, low-lit dining room flanked by Atlantis’ behemoth aquarium (the floor-to-ceiling tank hosts over 65,000 marine animals).
The restaurant is the first overseas venture of the late Spanish celebrity chef Santi Santamaria. The menu offerings are strictly Catalan, and mainly fish-focused. The chef, Wesley Berghoff, has won awards for his tasting menus, which have included knockouts like a silken slab of Tasmanian salmon, and a fall-apart sous vide lamb served with saffron jus.
