This is what Pune's been waiting for - a charming fresh indoor/outdoor space, serving creative Mediterranean food in the most exquisite, quintessentially "Poona" space. Walk in to a cosy interior, with a central wooden table and charming bar reminiscent of anything you would find in a country inn in Spain or Italy. The food is definitely more skilled bistro than fine dine and more French in inspiration which is a reflection of the Chef's (Mayank Tiwari) training and experience. Start with the bar snacks - the Middle Eastern style Kofte Kebab, Chicken Chermoula and prawns rubbed with house spices - all excellent. Do try the beetroot and ricotta with caramelized walnuts. Soups are outstanding; the roasted tomato and mandarin, Seafood Chaudiere or Chowder (in veg options too) and mouthwatering cold mushroom veloute. At last - fabulous looking food without curls and curves and unnecessary fuss.
