Qiwa Organic Store and Café, Cusco

In a side street near San Blas area of Cusco is this hidden gem of a place. Run by two lovely ladies, it is a warm and friendly place that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast, which comes at just 13 soles, is a real bargain. It includes organic eggs, whole-wheat toast, yogurt and granola with fruit salad. There is also an option of juice, tea and coffee on the side. All meals are freshly cooked with the best natural ingredients possible. There are also pancakes, a variety of shakes, green smoothies, juices and delicious salads on offer. Vegan and gluten-free options are clearly marked on the menu. The food is healthy and inexpensive and the servings are quite generous.
The interiors are clean and the entire ambiance is extremely pleasant. Qiwa Café is quaintly done up with wooden tables all over the place. This is a nice place to catch up with friends and family over a meal.
