This spot is considered the prince of Hiroshima’s Indian food joints, and rightly so. They have two awesome daily curry lunch sets which offers filling and scrumptious dishes at a decent price. The biggest set includes a salad, curry, soup, tandori meat (or substitute a vegetable samosa), served with a large naan bread or rice. Meat eaters may do themselves a favour by ordering a special thali meal comprising beef, pork, tandoor chicken and mince. And whatever grub you order, wash it off with a lassi drink for that sublime gastronomical experience. Roopali Indian Dining Restaurant knows how to pamper children too; they offer free toys with thalis meant for the lil’ ones! Find it just after the new Sheraton hotel, quite closeby the Shinkansen exit of Hiroshima station, on the main street.
