It’s a rustic dhaba-like setting with an artificially done up thatched roof, colourful curtains and pillows and rural artefacts. Making the ambience all the more Punjabi are the traditionally dressed waiters and the utensils in which the dishes are served. Start your course with dahi ke kabab, bhutteyan de kabab, kalmi kabab or murgh banno tikka. Of the main course, dal Punjabi, rajmaa, paneer roganjosh and mutter paneer are favourites for vegetarians. Some of the other interesting dishes include bhutta methi palak, gobhi mutter methi and chaap do pyaza. A profusion of dishes are available for non-vegetarians; including murgh dhaniya adraki, murgh tikka lehsuni, machhi curry, and mutton masala. Among the regulars you have mutter pulao, navrattan pulao, chicken/mutton biryani and egg biryani. Quit aerated options and order a few desi specialities; aam-e-khas, jal jeera, chaach, lassi and kesar milk are quite popular among regular visitors.
