If formal romance is more your style, make sure to make a reservation at Bailey’s Restaurant and Lounge where a formal dining room complete with high-back chairs, crisp white linen and elegant furnishings await you. Guests immediately hold their head just a touch higher when they walk through the door of this impressive restaurant, housed in a beautiful building that has been around since 1900. Bailey’s is known for their speciality menu items including the delicious rack of lamb and char-broiled filet mignon. But guests shouldn’t skimp on ordering the seafood chowder as well as the B.C. smoked salmon to start. The wine list is impressive, almost overwhelming with an endless array of choices whether you want it in a glass or a bottle, and luckily, there are attentive and knowledgeable staff members to help you make the right decision. If you prefer not to sit in the formal dining room, you can have a romantic meal in the lounge where elegant furnishings meet entertainment. Why not try a glass of one of the many bottles of scotch they offer. Besides, expert bartenders are always on hand to make sure you have the best experience possible.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
