Started in 1998 at the Radission Blu Plaza Hotel near the Indira Gandhi Intenrational Airport, this immensely popular restaurant now has branches all over the city. A carnivore’s delight, it has a fixed menu offering different kinds of delicious kababs of chicken, fish and mutton, served with breads, dal, biryani and chutneys. The restaurant has kababs prepared in seven different styles—you can have them shallow-fried on a tawa, roasted on a tandoor or sighri, steamed, stone grilled on deep fried. There’s tandoori chaat and vegetable galouti for the vegetarians, along with a range of desserts. The Great Kabab Factory’s success has led to outlets being opened across India and abroad, as far as Oman and Thailand.
