The cafe makes for an essential stop in the life of trekkers on their way to one of the biggest trekking feats in the world. Here, much to everyone’s surprise, you can order beer, coffee, and even some good, old apple pie. They even play documentary movies at night for anyone who’s missing home and its comfort in the middle of sheer wilderness here. On a regular evening, you might be having a coffee here with Neil Young streaming from the music system here.
Of course, a toast to him and the other climbers can be raised at the World’s Highest Bakery Cafe.
